Projects

The following projects represent the next phase of PhoenixWorks Films as we continue to expand beyond short-form independent cinema into feature films, scripted digital content, literary adaptations and ambitious genre-driven storytelling.

Ranging from intimate character pieces to sci-fi, horror and mystery projects, these works reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to visually striking filmmaking, emotionally resonant narratives and filmmaker-led creative development.

Several projects are currently in active development, with further details, casting announcements and production updates to be revealed in due course.

Short Film - Gothic Horror/Fantasy

​Logline: Following the death of his beloved Lenore, a grief-stricken man is drawn into a nightmarish liminal realm where a mysterious entity known as Nevermore forces him to confront the horrifying truth buried within his own soul.

Septum Anthology

Short Film - Horror/Body Horror

Logline: ​Septum: Anthology is an interconnected horror anthology series inspired by the seven deadly sins, with each volume exploring a different aspect of human corruption, guilt and self-destruction through surreal body horror, psychological terror and supernatural punishment.

Set against the backdrop of contemporary Britain, the series blends social realism with gothic and religious horror, following ordinary individuals consumed by forces tied to gluttony, lust, envy, sloth and the remaining deadly sins. Across each story, a mysterious entity known only as “Conscience” appears to guide, torment or condemn those unable to escape their own moral decay.

Volume I – Gula has already been completed, with additional chapters currently in active development including Volume II – Luxuria, Volume III – Invidia, and Volume V – Acedia.
